Once again we are flooded and the rain kept coming. Thank the Lord we only got a little bit in the basement. We had a couple more limbs fall no surprise there. Hope all you kids have a great day today.

Cole came to visit and the weather has been very nice. We have been able to be outside a lot and have taken a couple of walks and just hang out on the front porch and be entertained by Cole. So here are some pics.

Meet our cat. It's name: Cat Do we feed it? No, definitely not. Do we pet it? No. What do we do? Nothing, it just shows up at our house and lays around and has kittens under our porch.

Employment

Well, I got a job. I am now going to be working for Mercy Medical Center at their daycare. I will be working 4 days a week in 10 hour shifts. I will have every weekend off and one day a week off. I am not sure what day it will be but it will be nice whichever day it is. I will be working as a floater (working in every room) for a while then probably I will be a teacher in the 2s and 3s room. But that might change.

Well, that's my news and I am very thankful that the Lord allowed me to have the job. Hope you all have a great day and I thought you would enjoy this cartoon.

Nathan and Heather's House

The big occasion this weekend was that Matt came to Iowa to visit us. Jess and the kids, Jennifer, and Nathan, Heather and Cole all got together at the mansion in Milo.

We spent last weekend at Nathan and Heather's and had a great time. Dad, Matt, and Nathan went fishing after church on Sunday and when they got back we cooked hotdogs on Nate's grill. Cole was everybody's best friend.

Cole's visit

Cole came to our house to play and have fun. He has been very busy playing, taking walks, and just hanging outside. He is very active and always on the move. And we have enjoyed every minute!!!

Rain, Rain Go Away

We had all that rain last month and the yard never looked like this and in one night this is what we got!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Stuck in the middle"

Here are two photo's from a trip almost two years ago when we all met together somewhere in Illinois.
HAPPY INDEPENDANCE DAY!!!!!!
Your mom and I spent the day at the Milo pancake breakfast. parade, country music show, and local kiddie talent show. The parade alone lasted 45 minutes. This town has 836 residents but the festivities attract a couple thousand. Jennifer arrived home about 3:30. Nathan & Heather are at Mount Rushmore and Matt and Jess spent the day with their spouses.
